Description
Supports include small-group developmental programs, play-based social and sensory groups, educator-embedded coaching, and consultation. Strategies are delivered within natural play, transitions, and group times, ensuring alignment with existing preschool programs and minimal disruption to daily routines.
Service delivery begins with consultation and needs analysis, including observation of routines and collaboration with educators to identify priorities. Group supports are then tailored to the cohort and delivered onsite, typically across a series of sessions. Educator capability is strengthened through modelling, in-the-moment coaching, shared planning, and targeted professional learning, supported by practical tools and ongoing check-ins.
Family engagement is supported through workshops and accessible resources to promote consistency across home and preschool environments. Services are flexible and can be delivered in-person, online, or via a hybrid model.

How this is delivered
- Group supports are embedded within existing preschool routines rather than delivered as stand-alone sessions. This includes whole-group or small-group activities integrated into play, transitions, and group times, alongside real-time modelling and educator coaching.
- Sessions are typically delivered across 8–10 sessions per term or semester, with sessions running for 60–90 minutes. Frequency may be weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, depending on the needs of the service.
- Educator capacity-building is central to delivery and is supported through in-the-moment coaching, collaborative planning, reflective discussions, and targeted professional learning sessions. Practical tools and resources are provided to support ongoing implementation.
- Family engagement is supported through workshops and accessible resources to promote consistency between home and preschool environments.
- Ongoing support includes regular check-ins (onsite, telehealth, or phone) and adjustments to strategies as needs evolve. Services can be delivered in-person, online, or via a hybrid model to ensure flexibility and continuity.
