The speech pathologist can provide educator or parent coaching in speech development, language development, voice, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), feeding and swallowing management. Coaching can be provided as group education sessions or workshops with ongoing check in supports on request. The speech pathologist can provide small group intervention sessions focused on targeted communication goals embedded within everyday routines and play based activities.

Educator or family coaching can be provided in a group or workshop setting incorporating 1-2 visits per term of 60-120 minutes. Delivered by a speech pathologist as an external facilitator, in collaboration with educators. Small groups interventions can include 2-5 children with sessions of 45-60 minutes, weekly for 6-8 weeks depending on intervention focus. Delivered by the speech pathologist within familiar learning environment, in collaboration with educators. Ongoing support provided through collaborative reviews. These reviews could be monthly or bimonthly drop in check or via telehealth for 30 minutes.

Cost per hour of allied health support is $250.00 per hour charged in 15-minute increments of $62.50. Travel is charged as a sum of time spent travelling @$250.00 per hour charged in 15-minute increments of $62.50 plus ATO rate per km.
