Description
Our experienced occupational therapists support children to develop fine and gross motor skills, coordination, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), safety awareness, and sensory and emotional regulation skills through small focus groups. We work alongside educators to build confidence and capability in embedding evidence-informed strategies into everyday play and learning routines. We also partner with families by providing tailored information and practical strategies to support development at home.
Support is adapted to each service, helping create consistent, sustainable, and inclusive learning environments.
Key components include:
- Supporting educators to understand and implement strategies that promote fine and gross motor development, physical independence, and emotional regulation.
- Collaborating with educators to support diverse learning needs through inclusive and evidence-informed occupational therapy practices.
- Supporting families to implement strategies that promote motor skill development, independence in daily routines, and regulation skills at home.
- Delivering small group sessions targeting fine and gross motor skills, coordination, sensory and emotional regulation, and ADLs.
