Description
- Improved knowledge of typical communication development, across speech, language, social communication, and emergent literacy skills, and indicators of difficulties.
- Improved knowledge of implementing strategies within the preschool environment.
- Improved ability to develop actitivities that facilitate speech, language, social, and emergent literacy skills.
- Improved confidence to refer for specialised intervention or assessment.
How this is delivered
- Tailored content and approach depending on site's concerns and capacity.
- Initial consultation to understand specific concerns and needs, followed by tailored advice and recommendations.
- Support can include training sessions, resource development, observations, modelling and feedback.
- Delivered by Senior Speech Pathologist, in-person or telehealth.
