Description

Allied Health Boost Services provides services that are highly targeted, effective and flexibly delivered by qualified allied health professionals (occupational therapist, speech language pathologist, psychologist, physiotherapist or behaviour therapist). Therapists will select intervention strategies for inclusion in tailored programs from well-known, evidence-based programs that support key developmental domains and align with all AEDC domains. Expected outcomes for this support are:
  • Educator upskilling - through engaging and informative learning opportunities, building educator competency and confidence with supporting children with a range of differing needs in target domains.
  • Group child support - using a developmental behavioural approach and play-based group therapy programs to achieve outcomes in the domains of social competence and emotional maturity in preschool children.
  • Families: empowering parents and caregivers to support their child's social competence and emotional maturity through evidence-informed parent education approaches.
