Kudos offers comprehensive speech therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults in South Australia. We assist individuals with communication difficulties, including speaking, listening, and using language effectively. Kudos’ Speech Therapy program is tailored to individual needs and can include alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) methods. Kudos provides personalised assessments and interventions to support speech and language development, social skills and mealtime support. The program works across multiple AECD domains and supports group activities, educator upskilling, and parenting programs in early childhood settings. Key focus areas include:
  • Language and communication skills: Group activities improve receptive and expressive language, speech sound production and social communication skills.
  • Social skills development: Activities encourage turn-taking, sharing and cooperative play.
  • Play-based learning: Therapy is integrated into play-based activities, making learning fun and engaging.
  • Family involvement: Families receive resources and training to support their child's development at home.
  • Collaboration with educators: Speech therapists work with you to incorporate speech and language activities into daily routines.
Expected outcomes for this support are:
  • Improved language and communication skills
  • Improved play skills
  • Improved social interaction skills
