Description

The Kudos Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is a flexible, evidence-based system designed to support parents in raising confident, capable children. The program aims to improve parent-child relationships, prevent and treat behavioural and emotional issues, and promote positive parenting practices. It offers various levels of support through group sessions tailored to family needs. Backed by over 35 years of research, it is effective across diverse cultures and family structures. Specialised programs are available including for parents of children with disabilities, those who are overweight, and families experiencing divorce. Triple P meets the diverse needs of families, providing support at every stage of a child's development. Expected outcomes for this program are:
  • Improved support for emotional resilience
  • Improved ability to model and teach emotional regulation strategies
  • Improved ability to understand and regulate their own emotions
  • Improved family involvement and connection.

How this is delivered

Typically involves 4 x 2-hour sessions, one session per week, up to 10 families per group. The program will also incorporate pre and post assessments and telephone support for each family

Cost

The standard online program is available for $390 per session or $3,900 per program. If travel is required, the following zones apply: Metro No cost within 50kms of CBD. Beyond 50kms of CBD: cost by negotiation. Country visits may be bundled with flights, car hire and/or accommodation.

Kudos is a not-for-profit, employee-controlled mutual providing early childhood and therapy services in South Australia. They support individuals with disabilities through therapy, group programs, capacity building, community connections, and support coordination across the state. Their 200 practitioners with decades of experience in early childhood education and care environments support 11,000 South Australian families per year.
