Description
The Links at Preschool: Professional Development program equips early childhood educators with practical, evidence-informed strategies and confidence to support all children to learn and thrive in the years before school, with a strong focus on disabilities and developmental concerns. Led by early childhood specialists, speech pathologists, and psychologists, our webinars, workshops and on-demand sessions focus on simple, practical techniques that can be embedded into play-based environments to foster inclusion and school readiness. Educators can select from a range of topics, including:
- inclusive communication strategies
- how to read a speech report
- speech and language development
- supporting positive behaviour
- transition to school for children with a disability
- embedding strategies to support inclusion
- strategies to support ASD
- understand and support speech and language development in early childhood
- understand and support social-emotional development in early childhood
- implement inclusive communication strategies
- implement inclusive practices to support children with disabilities and developmental concerns
How this is delivered
This program has flexible online delivery options including:
- virtual workshops during staff meetings, after hours or professional development days
- live or pre-recorded webinars for ease and accessibility
- follow up consultations, mentoring and coaching to support practical implementation
Cost
The Links at Preschool: Professional Development program is delivered for $840 and includes:
- one on-demand virtual webinar for a chosen topic
- 2 virtual consultancy sessions led by an early education or allied health professional (either early childhood specialist, speech pathologist, or psychologist)
