Description

The Working in Partnership with Families program is designed to equip you with strategies for fostering respectful collaboration between parents and professionals. Based on the evidence-based Family Partnership Model, the workshop aims to increase understanding of engagement and partnership concepts, build awareness of worker and service characteristics that support engagement and partnership, and provide tools and strategies for a partnership approach. By fostering collaborative relationships and promoting reflective practice, these programs will equip you with the tools to meet families where they are, regardless of background. The consistent use of evidence-based frameworks ensures a cohesive, impactful approach that enhances outcomes for both families and educators. Expected outcomes for this program are:
  • Increase your understanding of engagement and partnership as concepts that influence your practice.
  • Build your awareness of the worker and service characteristics that support engagement and working in partnership.
  • Learn how to identify and use tools and strategies that support a partnership approach within and across family services.
