Description
Kudos’ Marte Meo program is a developmental support method that uses video interaction guidance to help you improve your interactions with children. The program consists of:
- Video feedback: You record your everyday interactions with children. These recordings are then reviewed with a trained Kudos Marte Meo therapist to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Focus on development: The program provides concrete information on how to support children's development during everyday interactions. It emphasizes the importance of positive, attuned communication.
- Evidence-based: Marte Meo is grounded in attachment theory, brain-based learning, and developmental research. It aims to enhance social, emotional, and cognitive development in children.

- Regular sessions: Typically, sessions are held weekly or bi-weekly, with each session lasting about 1-2 hours.

Marte Meo sessions are structured to provide practical, actionable feedback to educators and caregivers. Here is a typical structure:
- Recording: Educators or caregivers record their interactions with children during regular activities.
- Review: A trained Marte Meo therapist watches the video with the educator or caregiver, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
- Feedback: The therapist provides specific, constructive feedback, focusing on enhancing positive interactions and addressing any challenges.
- Action plan: Together, an action plan is developed with concrete steps to implement the feedback in daily practice.
- Follow-up: Regular follow-up sessions are conducted to monitor progress and provide ongoing support.
Cost
This program is delivered online (10 x1 hour sessions, or half day sessions over 2 days) for $1,560 or in-person (full day) for $1,170. If travel is required, the following zones apply: Metro: No cost within 50kms of CBD Beyond 50kms of CBD: cost by negotiation Country visits may be bundled with flights, car hire and/or accommodation. Facility hire costs / catering – if service is to be delivered outside of clients facility.
