Description
The service provides tailored supports for communication, social-emotional development, social skills, behaviour, play, inclusion and learning in everyday practice.Early Language & Play Sessions is a small-group program delivered within early childhood settings to support children’s emotional maturity (awareness, regulation, resilience), social competences (social interaction and social communication), language (verbal and nonverbal) and cognitive skills, communication and general knowledge. Programs run for up to 10 sessions and are tailored to the needs of the service and participating children, with groups of up to 5 children.Child-Led Play Modelling & Problem Solving is an onsite service where the clinician joins child-led play within early childhood settings to model communication, social interaction, play and emotional regulation strategies. It includes real-time coaching for educators, collaborative reflection, and problem-solving around what is working and what is not, supporting responsive practice and strengthening educator confidence within everyday routines.Educator Information Sessions – Communication & Development provide educational group sessions for early childhood educators focused on supporting young children’s development. Sessions are developmentally informed, practical, and designed to build educator confidence in understanding communication, behaviour, learning, and social-emotional growth. They support understanding of key areas of development and include strategies to support development within early learning environments, plus time for discussion and Q&A. Sessions are educational and non-diagnostic, include on-the-day Q&A with the option to add on follow up practical sessions.Educator coaching provide onsite, real-time support within the learning environment builds educator confidence and capability through observation, in-the-moment coaching, reflective discussion, and guided, collaborative problem-solving. How this is delivered
Supports are determined by the needs of the service and tailored accordingly.Child-Led Play Modelling & Problem Solving is delivered onsite within early childhood settings through 90 minute play based sessions, including brief pre- and post-session discussions with educators to identify goals and reflect on learning.Early Language & Play Sessions are provided as a small-group program supporting up to 5 children per group. Programs are tailored to the needs of the service and participating children, with the option of up to 10 sessions delivered at a schedule, frequency and pace that suits your service. Each session runs for 45 minutes and is embedded within the early learning environment.Group parent and educator sessions are offered face to face in differnt formats:
- 1 hour snapshot session - A concise topic overview providing key information about child development, what to expect at different ages, developmental milestones, and guidance for families.
- 90-minute Extended Session – A more in-depth session covering the same topic areas, with additional strategies to support development at home and in early learning environments, plus time for discussion and Q&A.
- 2-hour face to face workshop sessions
Sessions are educational and non-diagnostic, include on-the-day Q&A and resources, and do not include individual follow-up.On-the-Floor Coaching & Support is a flexible, practice-based onsite service for early childhood educators and leadership teams. Sessions are typically delivered in 60-minute blocks and may be extended (e.g., 2–3 hour visits) depending on service needs and level of support required.
Cost
Small child group sessions pricing: $550 per 90-minute session plus travel. Up to 10 sessions: $4,600 plus travel. Fees reduce for programs with fewer sessions. Includes pre-program planning with educators to tailor goals and group needs, session delivery, embedded coaching, reflection opportunities, and an end-of-program summary. Workshop pricing: 1-hour session $450 + $300 planning/customisation = $750 total. 90-minute session $650 + $300 planning/customisation = $950 total. Planning includes tailored content, resources, and preparation. Services may book one or multiple sessions. Educator capacity building sessions pricing: 2-hour session $900 + $450 planning/customisation = $1,350 total. Planning includes tailored content, resources, preparation, and consultation with the service. Follow-up “on the floor” sessions within the early childhood centre can be arranged at $250 per hour plus travel. Services may book one or multiple sessions. Coaching services are charged at $220 per hour. This rate includes all service delivery activities such as coaching, consultation, preparation, documentation, reports, summaries, letters, and resource development. Travel is charged at $97 per 30 minutes plus kilometre-based costs. Additional fees may apply for regional or remote locations.
