Description
Available to Goodstart services only. Key Word Sign (KWS) is an evidence-based intervention program that supports the development of speech, language, communication and social interaction skills in young children. When using KWS, the key words or most important concepts in the sentence are signed. The use of natural gesture (like pointing), facial expressions and body language are also important parts of using KWS. For more information on the program, visit: https://kwsa.org.au/training/
Expected outcomes for this program are:

How this is delivered
This program is delivered online and can be delivered over 1 full day or over 2 or 3 shorter sessions to introduce and support your understanding and use of Key Word Sign (KWS).
