Description
Speech pathology is a field that focuses on diagnosing and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. In the preschool context, Novita's speech pathologists help children develop communication skills essential for their overall development. Early intervention is particularly important for addressing delays or difficulties in speech, language comprehension, and social interaction. In the preschool setting, speech pathologists support the language and cognitive skills domain, helping children with vocabulary, sentence structure, and understanding language. They also address the communication skills domain, supporting children in expressing themselves clearly and engaging in social interactions. Through group activities and whole of environment support, they target skills like pronunciation, sentence formation, and turn-taking. Novita's speech pathologists will collaborate with you and parents, providing strategies to further support children's development in everyday activities, ensuring children are ready to thrive academically and socially.
