Description
Connect.Ed provides outreach-based Developmental Education support within early childhood education and care (ECEC) settings, working alongside educators to strengthen inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming practice.Developmental Educators support small groups of children within everyday play and learning experiences, focusing on skills that support engagement and school readiness. This includes attention, communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, problem-solving and adaptive skills.Support is embedded within the existing preschool program and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework. Sessions are play-based, developmentally appropriate and delivered within natural routines.A key focus is building educator confidence and capability. Practitioners work alongside educators during sessions, modelling strategies, adapting environments and providing in-the-moment coaching. This approach strengthens outcomes for children while building sustainable capability within the service, supporting inclusive practice beyond practitioner involvement.Find out more: www.connecteducation.info
