The Kimochis® program equips you and parents with resources to nurture emotional literacy. Kimochis® provide essential social and emotional support for children. The Kimochis® training and coaching will empower you to incorporate Kimochis® into play-based learning, supporting children’s growth in self-regulation and communication. Workshops for parents offer practical tools to use feelings games and emotion coaching at home. The live shows, featuring music and dance, reinforces key concepts in a fun, interactive way. Kimochis® ensures a holistic support system that nurtures children’s emotional maturity and social competence.

Expected outcomes for this program are:

• For children: Improved ability to understand their own emotions, enhanced co-regulation and self-regulation skills, and the development of resilience and effective coping strategies
• For children: Improved social interaction skills, ability to build and maintain relationships with others, and engage in play and learning
• For educators: Improved understanding of emotional development in early childhood, ability to regulate one’s own emotions, model and teach children emotional regulation and communication strategies, manage conflict, implement social skill strategies, and support diverse needs through inclusive practices
• For families: Enhanced understanding of emotional development in early childhood, with the ability to provide emotion coaching, supporting children to express their emotions, bridging school language and learning into the home environment, and fostering stronger family connections. The Kimochis® Foundation Training for Educators (Early Childhood) is delivered over 6 hours as group training or individual training:

• Group training (up to 10 people) in-person or online live via Zoom where all staff attend the sessions together. Option for 1 x 6-hour or 2 x 3-hour sessions for online live is available
• Individual training (up to 10 people) in-person or online via Zoom where not all staff have to attend the same sessions. The Kimochis® early childhood toolkit includes a kit of Kimochis resources including feeling cushions, characters, a nesting heart, and a feel guide curriculum. Kimochis® coaching and implementation includes 2 x 30-minute coaching sessions and a 1-hour onsite visit for ongoing educator support. Kimochis® workshop for parents and carers includes a workshop for up to 20 families, delivered onsite, to support emotional development at home, including a set of 20 Feelings Decks to help facilitate learning. The Live Kimochis® show featuring music and dance, helps children and families reinforce emotional learning in fun and engaging way. Note:

For smaller centres, individual Early Childhood Foundation Training places are available for $275pp in person (including catering) or $250pp online. For more comprehensive support, choose from our two bundle options: Recommended Bundle – $7,500 Includes Foundation Training for Educators, a workshop for parents and carers, 20 Feelings Decks (for parents and carers), a live Kimochis® show, coaching and implementation support, and an early childhood toolkit.
