The service from AnglicareSA partners with educators in preschool settings to embed a neuro-affirming positive behaviour support approach that strengthens inclusive practice across the whole site. The focus is on building consistent, proactive strategies that support children’s engagement, wellbeing, and participation in daily routines.The service provides group sessions, workshops, and ongoing in-class support for educators, focusing on identifying unmet needs behind behaviour, setting clear and supportive expectations, and using reflective practice to guide decision-making. Support is tailored to each setting and may include coaching, modelling, and practical resources to strengthen everyday practice.A key focus is building educator capability and confidence to implement inclusive, strengths-based approaches within routines and transitions. The service also supports leadership teams to develop consistent, whole-site practices that promote safe, predictable, and supportive learning environments.

In metropolitan areas, Positive Behaviour Support service is available in person, with flexible use of online or hybrid approaches as needed. In regional locations, services are delivered online.

All services are charged at $215 per hour. This includes face-to-face service delivery, administration (e.g. documentation, and development of tailored resources or workshops) and clinician travel time. Travel to early childhood services within the Adelaide metropolitan area is charged at the standard hourly rate and billed in 5-minute increments from the nearest AnglicareSA office. For non-metro locations, additional travel arrangements and charges will be negotiated as required.
