Description

Wattle Tree Therapy supports children, families, and educators to thrive in everyday home and learning environments. Our neurodiversity-affirming approach values relationships, play, and the unique strengths of every child. We combine empathy, clinical expertise, and evidence-based knowledge to work collaboratively with parents and educators. Flexible support options include workshops and hourly collaboration with a Senior Occupational Therapist, tailored to your setting and needs.Outcomes for Parents & Educators:

  • Increased knowledge and confidence using practical strategies to support children’s development, participation, and inclusion.

Outcomes for Children:

  • Developing emotional regulation, social connections, and confidence, through meaningful relationships and play.
  • Communication and participation through self-advocacy.
  • Improving physical and cognitive skills such as body awareness, motor skills, attention, flexibility, problem-solving, and planning.

How this is delivered

Occupational Therapy supports can be delivered in person, or online. Topics are tailored to your community needs.

  • Professional Training Workshops: 4-hour support package including a 3-hour group workshop for educators, and 1-hour follow-up implementation support, handouts, and attendance certificate.
  • Family and Parent Supports: 2-hour support package including a 1.5-hour group workshop, and 0.5hr Q&A, plus handouts.
  • Custom Supports: Tailored to ECEC centre needs, for example, additional hours added to workshops, and coaching and collaboration.

4-hr Professional Training Workshop Package: *Inclusive of 10 educators* *Additional participants $90 per person* *$1,990* 2-hr Family and Parent Supports Workshop Package: *No maximum participants* *$990* Custom Supports: *Tailored to ECEC centre needs* *Additional hours added to workshops, or coaching and collaboration* *$225 per hour* Travel *Metropolitan for $112.50 per hour* *Regional for $168.75 per hour* *Remote for $225 per hour* *Km reimbursement of $0.99 per km* *ECEC Locations in Western Adelaide, located within 15 km of base location (Welland SA 5007) will not be billed for travel.*
