Elcies Speech Pathology Support Program provides tailored, on-site support for early learning services, focused on building inclusive communication environments and strengthening educator capability. Our approach is practical, collaborative and delivered “on-floor” alongside educators - supporting real-time skill development within everyday routines, rather than a pull-out therapy model.Services are flexible and co-designed with each centre, and may include modelling the use of visual supports (including low-tech AAC) and communication strategies, small-group sessions with children, and collaboration with educators to embed communication-supportive practices into curriculum planning. Target areas may include speech sounds, language development, stuttering, phonological awareness and alternative ways of communicating.Speech Pathologists work alongside educators during sessions to build confidence and ensure strategies can be sustained beyond our visits. We can also deliver tailored parent and caregiver workshops to support consistency between home and the early learning environment.All supports are delivered within existing ratios, reducing the need for staff backfill. Pre- and post-evaluation is included to measure changes in educator confidence and capability, with optional reporting available.Our goal is to empower educators to create communication-rich environments where all children can participate, engage and thrive.Intended Outcomes:

Delivery is tailored to each ECEC service, using a flexible, on-floor model embedded within everyday routines.Speech Pathologists (SPs) attend the centre and work alongside educators and children to model practical strategies in real time. This includes designing and implementing visual supports (e.g. low-tech AAC) and modelling communication strategies during everyday interactions. SPs typically attend weekly across a 1–2 term period (e.g. one 5-hour day), providing ongoing coaching, feedback and refinement.Small-group sessions may be delivered within the learning environment, targeting areas such as speech sounds, language, stuttering, pre-literacy skills and alternative communication methods. These are run on-floor to support educator involvement and are typically delivered in 10-week blocks.SPs may also collaborate with teaching teams during curriculum planning and provide in-room coaching during implementation.Parent and caregiver workshops are available to support consistency across home and early learning environments.All services include pre- and post-evaluation to measure changes in educator confidence and capability, with optional reporting available.
