An ECA Learning Hub Subscription draws upon a well-established evidence base, connecting theory to practice. Professional learning builds educator knowledge of children’s early development, developmental milestones, and the types of experiences that promote children’s learning, development and wellbeing. Practical approaches, learning environments and illustrations of practice build educator knowledge, capability and encourage reflective practice of individual and teams of educators, and whole-of service, to positively impacts children’s outcomes through embedding and sustaining high quality practice.

Expected outcomes include:

• Strengthen educator knowledge and professional practice.
• Enhance strategies that support children’s development and communication skills.
• Build capacity to provide responsive, inclusive, and play-based learning environments.
• Increased understanding of child development and supporting consistent learning and wellbeing practices between home and early education settings.

The Learning Hub Subscription is delivered online, through the ECA learning management system (LMS) which is a professional learning platform designed for early childhood educators and services. A 12-month subscription will provide participants with access to 100 courses which is inclusive of courses that support the primary and secondary domains for the SA Preschool Boost Menu of Service. Online facilitated workshops (run twice a year) will support educators to strengthen their ability to create responsive, inclusive, play-based learning environments. These sessions will extend on the participants' engagement with the online learning content.

The ECA Learning Hub Subscription costs $390 per person. This includes 12-months access to the ECA Learning Hub, and the option to attend 2x 1-hour workshops throughout the subscription period.
