The Autism Informed Education Support Program (AIESP) builds educator capability to recognise, understand and respond to autism within early childhood education and care (ECEC) settings. Delivered by experienced allied health professionals, the program combines tailored professional learning with implementation support to strengthen inclusive, neuro‐affirming practice.

AIESP begins with a consultation to identify each service’s priorities, followed by customised training focused on communication, sensory processing, cognition, social interaction and behaviour as communication. Educators gain practical, evidence‐informed strategies to support engagement, participation and regulation for autistic children and those with developmental differences.

Ongoing coaching ensures strategies are embedded into everyday routines, play‐based learning and educator‐led practice. The program strengthens whole‐team consistency and supports sustainable change across the setting.

AIESP aims to improve early recognition of developmental differences, reduce barriers to participation, and create inclusive environments where all children can thrive.

The Autism Informed Education Support Program (AIESP) is delivered by experienced allied health professionals as a structured, multi‐stage package combining consultation, training and implementation support.

The program begins with an initial consultation (approximately 3 hours) with key educators to identify priorities, existing practices and areas for development. This informs the design of tailored training aligned to the service’s needs.

Training (approximately 3 hours) is delivered face‐to‐face or online, either as one session or split across shorter sessions. Content focuses on understanding autism, communication, sensory processing, cognition and behaviour, alongside practical strategies for everyday use.

Implementation support (approximately 6 hours) is provided flexibly, including on‐site or virtual coaching, modelling, and problem‐solving sessions. This supports educators to embed strategies into daily routines, play‐based learning and educator‐led practice.

The program may also include optional parent sessions and follow‐up consultations to consolidate learning. Delivery is flexible and can be adapted to each service’s schedule and context.

The initial consultation (up to 3 hours) ranges from $380 to $1,140.

Training and implementation support ranges from $1,140 to $3,420 depending on the support needs of the service.

If travel is required, this will be charged based on location: $50 for 0-30 minutes from our closest office, $100 for 31-60 minutes from our closest office and $200 for 61-120 minutes from our closest office. All costs are GST exclusive.
