How this is delivered
Be You is delivered online through a flexible model that combines professional learning, practical tools and resources, and ongoing implementation support provided through a Be You Consultant.
Be You is designed to be responsive to the context of each service as well as their strengths and needs, therefore the degree of time commitment is unique to each service.
Be You uses video calls, email and phone. Be You Consultants support early learning services individually and/or together in groups of services. Participating Be You services are allocated a primary Be You Consultant however they can also access a team of Consultants to support implementation, and turn learning into action.
Professional learning and capacity building for educators is supported through online learning modules, live and recorded Be You In-Focus and In-Practice webinars, fact sheets and evidence based resources.
Opportunities to connect with other services and educators are available through online interactive sessions and events.
Services can plan for the time commitments required to develop and implement their mental health and wellbeing plans with support from their Be You Consultant. Services can also factor in time for staff to engage in Be You offerings, such as the professional learning modules and interactive sessions.
Cost
There is no cost. Be You is funded by the Commonwealth government and available to all learning communities across Australia at no cost.
Note: Learning communities can use the portion of their funding reserved for backfill and administration to develop and implement their mental health and wellbeing plans, and engage in Be You offerings such as professional learning modules and live webinars.
