Description
ThriveLead is a culturally responsive leadership and educator development program designed to strengthen trauma-informed practice, cultural capability and inclusive leadership in early childhood settings. The program supports educators and leaders to build stronger relationships with Aboriginal children, families and communities while creating safe, connected and culturally respectful learning environments.
Through interactive workshops, reflective practice, mentoring and implementation support, participants explore cultural responsiveness, trauma-informed approaches, communication, leadership, inclusion and community engagement. The program combines evidence-informed practice with practical strategies that can be immediately applied within ECEC services.
ThriveLead supports services to strengthen cultural safety, improve family engagement, enhance educator confidence and build sustainable leadership practices that benefit children, families and teams. Participants receive practical tools, resources and action-planning support to embed learning into everyday service delivery.
The program can be delivered online, in person or through a blended format to services across South Australia.

How this is delivered
ThriveLead is delivered through a blended learning model combining interactive workshops, reflective practice, mentoring and implementation support.
The program includes:
- 4 x 2-hour facilitated workshops delivered online, in person or through a blended format
- practical activities, case studies and group discussions
- reflective practice and action-planning activities between sessions
- implementation resources, templates and learning materials and
- optional coaching and follow-up support to assist services in embedding learning.
Workshop topics include cultural capability, trauma-informed practice, culturally responsive leadership, inclusive practice, family engagement and building culturally safe environments. Participants are supported to apply learning within their own service context through practical reflection and workplace-based activities.
Programs can be delivered to individual services or groups of services and are suitable for educators, educational leaders, room leaders and service leaders. Delivery can be tailored to service needs and scheduled across a term or semester to allow time for implementation between sessions.
ThriveLead is available to services across South Australia through live online, in-person or blended delivery models, supporting participation from metropolitan, regional and remote communities.
Cost
ThriveLead is delivered for $9,635 per program, excluding GST, for up to 25 participants. This includes all workshops, resources, feedback and implementation support. Additional participants above 25 are $482 per person, excluding GST. No travel costs apply within 25 km of Adelaide CBD. Travel beyond 25 km is charged at $193.99 per hour (ex GST). Accommodation and meal costs for regional or remote delivery may be charged at cost if required and agreed in advance.
