LBI Foundation holds exclusive rights to the IMPACT Program, an evidence-based framework that translates the science of trauma, attachment, wellbeing, neurodiversity, neurobiology and human growth into practical strategies for children, educators, families and ECEC systems.

LBI's multi-disciplinary team partners with ECEC services to co-design capacity-building initiatives aligned to local needs and outcomes. Implementation focuses on three interconnected layers: (1) strengthening children's social and emotional learning (SEL), (2) enhancing responsive care and relational practice, and (3) building a whole-of-site approach to wellbeing, learning, neurodiversity and trauma-responsive practice.

Implementation draws upon a suite of IMPACT capacity building services:

• accredited professional learning
• specialist coaching, workshops and consultation
• localised embedding strategies and AI-activated tools
• accreditation of local IMPACT Coaches (local champions) and
• train-the-trainer pathways.

Through IMPACT, educators and caregivers build the knowledge, skills and confidence to:

• understand how trauma, attachment, neurodiversity and development influence behaviour and wellbeing
• recognise and intentionally respond to underlying needs
• strengthen inclusive, child-centred and trauma-responsive practice and
• improve outcomes aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and AEDC domains.

LBI delivers the IMPACT Program to Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) services through a flexible four-step service model, enabling centres to select the level and intensity of implementation that best aligns with their needs, context, resources and priorities. Through the Preschool Boost Program, services can also access specialist clinical coaching from psychologists and allied health practitioners to strengthen implementation.

Each partnership begins with a dedicated LBI Foundation Community Lead working alongside the service leader to understand the centre's context, strengths and priorities. Together, they co-design a tailored capacity-building strategy aligned with local goals and desired outcomes for children, educators, families and the wider service.

Implementation draws on LBI's four-step service offering through evidence-informed workshops, coaching, localised embedding strategies and community champions. Sessions are delivered to groups of 2–30 educators, leaders and caregivers. They integrate evidence-informed learning, reflective practice and practical strategies that can be immediately applied. Learning is intentionally scaffolded to create a coherent and sustainable capacity-building journey that strengthens practice and outcomes over time.
