Description

Supporting children with diverse developmental, communication and regulation needs has never been more important. Marte Meo provides educators with practical, evidence-informed strategies to strengthen connection, emotional regulation, development and positive behaviour through everyday interactions.

With extensive experience working in preschool settings, Bec delivers engaging strengths-based training that builds educator confidence, reflective practice and a positive team culture. Services develop a shared understanding of how everyday interactions support children's development, resulting in greater consistency, inclusion and professional satisfaction.

Training options are flexible and can include a 6-hour Introduction to Marte Meo, accredited Practitioner Training, site-specific introductory workshops, tailored coaching, and advanced Therapist and Trainer programs.

Marte Meo equips educators with practical strategies that are embedded into daily practice.

Expected outcomes include:

  • increased confidence in supporting developmental, communication and behavioural needs
  • improved child engagement, communication and emotional regulation
  • enhanced inclusion and participation for all children
  • stronger collaboration and positive workplace culture
  • consistent, sustainable practices across the service and
  • improved outcomes for children, families and educators.

How this is delivered

Our Marte Meo program is delivered through a highly flexible, site-based coaching model that can be tailored to the unique needs, priorities and schedules of individual services. Unlike traditional professional development that occurs away from the workplace, Marte Meo supports educators within their everyday environment, helping translate learning into meaningful and sustainable practice change.

Training can be delivered as a full-day workshop, short after-hours sessions, staff meeting presentations, small-group coaching, or accredited practitioner training. Delivery schedules can be customised to minimise disruption to service operations and educator workloads.

A key feature of the program is the use of video-based reflection and strengths-based coaching. Educators are supported to identify what is already working well, build confidence in their interactions with children, and develop practical strategies that can be immediately applied throughout the day.

Services can access:

  • Introduction to Marte Meo training
  • Accredited Practitioner training
  • Site-specific coaching and mentoring
  • Advanced Therapist and Trainer pathways

The program is designed to strengthen educator capability, improve inclusion practices, foster a positive and reflective team culture, and create lasting benefits for children, families and services.
