Preschool Plus Teaching and Learning

Each Preschool Plus enrolment will receive double the universal preschool Teaching and Learning allocation, at the SEIFA 1 rate, and any applicable regional loading for the Service.

Spending rules

The universal preschool Teaching and Learning spending rules apply for Preschool Plus enrolments.

Discretionary use of funding

Where Preschool Plus Partner Services and Integrated Hubs Services have uncommitted funds, potentially due to Preschool Plus children initially being enrolled in less than the full number of hours per week (see Minimum service offer for Preschool hours), Teaching and Learning funds can be spent in line with Teaching and learning – Spending rules: Discretionary use of funding.

Program reporting

Preschool Plus Teaching and Learning funding will need to be accounted for in the service-level annual financial acquittal.
