The Educator's Role in Children's Emotional Regulation is a professional learning program that strengthens educator knowledge, confidence and practice in supporting children's emotional development, regulation and wellbeing. Grounded in neuroscience, attachment theory and trauma-informed practice, the program helps educators understand behaviour as communication and respond through co-regulation and responsive relationships.

Delivered by educators with postgraduate qualifications in Early Childhood Trauma, the program combines evidence-informed theory with practical strategies that can be applied immediately within preschool settings.

The program is delivered through interactive workshops and implementation support sessions, enabling educators to embed learning into everyday practice and create emotionally responsive environments that support all children to thrive.

Key focus areas include:

• emotional regulation and brain development
• understanding behaviour as communication
• co-regulation and responsive relationships
• emotionally safe and inclusive learning environments
• educator confidence and reflective practice and
• practical tools and resources for implementation.

The program aims to strengthen educator capability and improve children's social, emotional and wellbeing outcomes through everyday practice.

This program is delivered through 4 x 3-hour workshops over a customised timeframe. One-on-one leadership, mentoring and reflective practice sessions are available as needed.

Participants receive access to downloadable resources, practical tools and implementation materials, with follow-up support available to assist implementation.

This program is delivered for $5,500 per service (5 x 3-hour sessions) for up to 25 participants. An optional leadership session (5 hours) is available for $2,000 for up to 5 participants. Additional 3-hour sessions are available for $1,100 each.

Travel within 50km of Mount Gambier is included. Travel beyond 50km is charged at the current ATO rate per kilometre. Accommodation, air travel and other significant travel costs (where required) are charged at cost. All prices are GST exclusive.
