When completing the Flying Start Partnership Plan you are required to outline how your Enhancing Quality program funding will support your service to address certain quality areas.
About the program
The Enhancing Quality program provides access to funding for Flying Start partner services to undertake learning and development at a service level that aligns to their strategic quality objectives.
This supports retention of the early childhood workforce, lifting service quality and improving developmental outcomes for children across language, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains.
Things to consider
When planning your professional learning, you should focus on:
- using the Professional Learning and Development Framework to determine your goals and identify high quality professional learning options
- supporting a whole-of-service approach to professional development
- how your service will implement and critically reflect on the learning and development that is undertaken
- the outcomes you are seeking to improve for your service.
